The annual gathering of African football’s top decision-makers took place on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This 46th General Assembly of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) drew significant attention with the presence of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, underscoring the growing importance of African football on the global stage.

During the assembly, CAF presented its audited financial report for the 2022-2023 season, revealing key insights into the organization’s financial health. Additionally, the 2024-2025 budget was unveiled, setting strategic priorities for the upcoming years. The report outlined financial progress, revenue streams, and investments aimed at promoting football development across the continent.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss ongoing CAF projects, with a focus on infrastructure development, youth programs, and preparations for upcoming tournaments, including the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and continental club competitions.
