Founded in 2013 as a 10-person start-up, the company has developed into a 300-employee organisation, providing digital solutions to both the public and private sectors.

General Manager William Oliveira says the firm’s ambition is to demonstrate that Angolan companies can compete with established international players.
“We’re proud to be a genuinely Angolan company that can stand alongside global firms while delivering innovation shaped by our local realities,” Oliveira said.

With over 80% of its workforce under the age of 30, TIS has built its reputation on investing in young professionals. Earlier this year, the company won a national award for youth training, reflecting its commitment to skills development in the tech sector.

The firm says this approach has not only strengthened its own capacity but also contributed to Angola’s wider digital transformation.

In 2025, TIS launched a healthcare technology unit, focusing on digital solutions for hospitals and medical institutions. The company expects to secure at least five new hospital clients as part of this initiative, while also exploring opportunities in telemedicine and digital patient management.

At the same time, TIS is developing business-to-consumer (B2C) services, a move designed to bring its innovations closer to everyday users across Angola and beyond.

“Our next chapter is about regional expansion and building solutions that serve wider African needs,” Oliveira said. “We believe technology must not only transform business but also improve lives.”

Looking ahead, TIS plans to expand into other African markets, combining its local expertise with strategic global partnerships.
