Chad and Gabon pursue economic reforms to boost regional integration

Johannesburg – Chad and Gabon are intensifying efforts to implement economic reforms aimed at fostering regional integration and enhancing stability.

Both countries are focusing on improving revenue collection systems and attracting foreign investments to create a more favorable business environment.

In Chad, reforms include streamlining tax policies and expanding infrastructure to support cross-border trade, while Gabon is prioritizing financial sector reforms and public investment programs to spur economic growth. Both governments view regional cooperation as a key driver for sustainable development and have aligned policies to promote trade within the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC).
