The three-day summit is structured around key themes that align with the overarching vision of pioneering the future:

1. Vision Day (October 10): Building companies of the future

2. People Day (October 11): Creating workforces of the future

3. Leader Day (October 12): Defining purpose and meaning for future-ready leadership

Attendees can expect thought-provoking conversations in refreshing workshop-style formats on scaling businesses with leaders who have done so themselves, fresh insights from top experts, and networking opportunities with potential funding partners eager to fuel growth across the continent.

Respected speakers lined up for this event include Richard Rugendo, the managing director of Kevian Limited Kenya, Umnia Mahgoub of Mahgoub Sons Group (Sudan) and Edmund Poku, CEO of Niche Cocoa (Ghana).

Africa@Scale 2024 comes at a crucial time when the continent faces both challenges and immense potential. With 18 million Africans entering the labour force annually and only 3 million new jobs created each year, the need for pioneering new business models and accelerating private sector growth is more pressing than ever.

As the host town, Malindi symbolises Africa’s rich history of global trade and its potential. Once a wealthy kingdom with bustling trade ports in the 15th century, Malindi now serves as the backdrop for discussions shaping the next chapter of African entrepreneurship and global partnerships.
