The discussions focused on best practices for SME financing, including risk assessment models, credit coverage ratios, and post-funding monitoring strategies. FGC’s delegation also included Business Administrator Eduardo Mohamed, Advisor Pedro Kabanje, Executive Support Office Director Mara de Almeida, and Head of Product Development Alin Faustino.

Later, the Angolan team held talks with Florence Wanja, Stanbic Bank’s Director of Business and Clients, followed by a roundtable with Kenyan entrepreneurs who have benefited from credit-backed loans. The meetings allowed FGC to examine real-world success stories and oversight mechanisms firsthand.

The engagement underscores growing cross-continental collaboration in developing Africa’s financial ecosystems.
