Donald Trump, maintaining the same stance he adopted in the 2020 elections, may once again reject the results of future electoral contests if they are not favorable to him. In case he repeats his allegations of fraud, which mobilized a significant portion of his supporters and culminated in the Capitol invasion, this could resurface, raising renewed questions about the legitimacy of the electoral process in the United States.

This potential rejection could further intensify political and social polarization in the country, fueling distrust in democratic institutions among his followers. In case new challenges arise, they could overwhelm the judicial system, while the Republican Party may face internal division: some leaders could seek to distance themselves from Trump, while others may remain loyal to the former president.

On the international stage, in case Trump’s actions damage the image of the United States as a stable democracy, this could jeopardize alliances and diplomatic relations. His continued rejection of electoral results may have lasting consequences, both for the internal cohesion of the Republican Party and for the political stability of the country.
