JOHANNESBURG — AfricaHeadline has officially launched the Africa Economic Roadshow, a pan-African platform dedicated to economic diplomacy, strategic communications and investment promotion, with Angola selected to host its inaugural edition through the LIKE ANGOLA – Economic Roadshow.

The initiative will take place alongside the Angola Economic Outlook 2026 and the Luanda International Trade Fair (FILDA 2026), bringing together business journalists, financial editors, international investors, economists, policymakers, entrepreneurs and digital creators from Africa, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

The Africa Economic Roadshow has been designed to provide international audiences with direct access to Africa’s fastest-evolving economies through on-the-ground reporting, executive dialogues, institutional engagement and site visits to strategic investment projects. Rather than relying solely on official presentations, the programme aims to expose participants to the productive sectors driving long-term economic growth across the continent.

Angola’s selection reflects the country’s improving macroeconomic fundamentals and its growing relevance within Africa’s investment landscape. Following a sustained programme of economic reforms, fiscal consolidation and private-sector development, the country has begun attracting renewed attention from international investors and development finance institutions seeking opportunities beyond traditional commodity markets.

Recent official data point to a strengthening macroeconomic environment. Annual inflation slowed to 10.11% in June 2026, its lowest level in approximately three years, while non-oil sectors—including agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, tourism, mining, transport, digital services and energy—continue to expand, reinforcing the government’s broader economic diversification agenda.

The LIKE ANGOLA – Economic Roadshow has been conceived as an independent business engagement platform that combines economic journalism, strategic communications and investment intelligence. Participants will visit industrial facilities, agricultural projects, logistics corridors, technology hubs, tourism assets and infrastructure developments while engaging directly with government leaders, business executives, entrepreneurs and international financial institutions.

Throughout the programme, AfricaHeadline will produce premium editorial content—including feature stories, business interviews, economic analysis, documentaries, podcasts, multimedia reports and market briefings—for distribution across international newspapers, television networks, digital platforms, radio broadcasters and social media channels, expanding global visibility for Angola’s evolving investment narrative.

The initiative is structured around five strategic pillars:

Economic Diplomacy

International Strategic Communications

Investment Promotion and Business Development

Global Positioning of the Angola Brand

High-Impact Multimedia Content Production

According to AfricaHeadline, the project seeks to contribute to a more balanced international understanding of Angola by complementing traditional coverage of the hydrocarbons sector with reporting on industrialisation, entrepreneurship, productive investment, innovation, infrastructure development and regional economic integration.

As global investors increasingly diversify their portfolios across frontier and emerging markets, AfricaHeadline believes that credible economic storytelling, supported by data and first-hand reporting, has become an essential component of investment promotion.

Through the Africa Economic Roadshow, the organisation aims to establish a permanent platform connecting African economies with international investors, financial institutions, business media and global decision-makers, while positioning the LIKE ANGOLA – Economic Roadshow as a flagship initiative showcasing Angola’s real economy and long-term growth potential.
